Miss Greek IU is the Delta Chi Fraternity’s annual philanthropic event. The event raises funds for The V Foundation for Cancer Research and a portion of each contestant’s fundraising goes toward their chapter’s philanthropy. Contestants are judged on their community involvement, philanthropic passion, leadership experience, and self-confidence.

The pageant strives to showcase the wonderful women within the strong Greek community of Indiana University, and the winner of the event serves as the community's role model. All the contestants have a high sense of morals, a strong desire for success and achievement, and a genuine concern for the well-being of Greek life. The pageant intends to promote the diversity within the Greek community and to set a standard for collegiate Greek systems around the entire country.
