At IU Auditorium we take pride in our historic facility, and our Service Maintenance team plays an important role on the team that keeps our venue open as the community’s gathering place. Service Maintenance team members perform a variety of custodial duties. Other duties include seasonal removal of snow, identifying and reporting items in the building that need repair, and event set-up and tear-down.

Known for its presentation of a wide variety of events from the latest popular concerts and Broadway attractions to university ceremonies and conference events, IU Auditorium is a 3,200-seat theatre that has been a model of campus and community programming and engagement since it opened in 1941. Our box office is the frontline of our operations. We are always looking for focused, well-spoken, charismatic students to join our team.
Our Sales Associates work an average 10-20 hours per week, including daytime and event shifts at four venues on the IU Bloomington campus. Responsibilities include selling tickets, processing orders, answering questions about events, and providing extraordinary customer service.
IU Event Services is always looking for energetic and outgoing individuals who have the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Team members work a variety of exciting events in historic venues across the Indiana University campus. As a requirement for employment with IU Event Services, staff members are expected to work most IU football and basketball games, some Little 500 events, and Commencement.

The Events Coordinator works with a variety of clients in preparing and ensuring smooth operation of non-ticketed events at IU Auditorium, Presidents Hall, and other locations we manage.
Our ushering program is a fast-paced, lively student organization, and any enrolled IU Bloomington student is invited to join. Volunteers are required to work a minimum of six events per semester, follow a dress code, and HAVE FUN!
As a volunteer you will learn the intricacies of customer service, venue management, crowd management, and much more. While seeing the shows for free is certainly a perk of the job, being a part of the team, making new friends, and finding a place to belong in this large university will likely become the benefits that keep you coming back.
