IU Bloomington students, join hometown country star Clayton Anderson for a night of fun and feel-good tunes in Dunn Meadow. Presented by IU Auditorium, Clayton is coming back to his roots for a concert live under the stars as part of IU's Open Air Venues initiative—capacity will be limited to allow for a socially distant experience for those in attendance.

Clayton has performed on the same stage of some of country’s biggest stars, the likes of Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, and even Jimmy Buffett.

Clayton writes and sings what he knows—drawing from his young life in Bedford, Indiana, and spending summer days on Lake Monroe—and Clayton’s “I don’t take myself too seriously” attitude keeps him grounded and accessible despite his successes. Clayton’s music is playful and from the heart, and pulls a lot of its musical inspiration from Indiana’s pool of musical legends: John Mellencamp, Michael Jackson, John Hiatt, David Lee Roth, and Axl Rose.
