Experience The Planets – An HD Odyssey performed by the IU Jacobs School of Music Concert Orchestra conducted by Jeffery Meyer along with special guest Dr. Mae Jemison, America's first woman of color to travel to space. Dr. Jemison, a former astronaut, will narrate this mesmerizing, multimedia spectacle that combines the latest images from modern space exploration with Holst's beloved and celestial music.
The concert will also feature the Jacobs School of Music Violin Concerto Competition winner performing Samuel Barber’s brilliant and romantic Violin Concerto.
