As part of the university-wide Day of Commemoration celebrating Indiana University’s Bicentennial and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Viola Davis will deliver a keynote lecture at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on January 20, 2020. The event is free and open to the public.
The first black actor to win acting’s triple crown (Oscar, Emmy, and Tony awards), Davis currently stars in the ABC series How to Get Away with Murder and has twice been named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
