BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A cappella sensation and Bloomington favorite Straight No Chaser returns home to IU Auditorium as part of their 25th Anniversary Celebration tour on Friday, December 16 at 8 p.m. The group is bringing their live show packed with pop favorites, holiday music, and some laughs along the way.

 

Since their start at IU, Straight No Chaser has emerged as a phenomenon with a massive fanbase and a long list of accomplishments, including two RIAA Gold Certified albums, and over 1.5 million concert tickets sold, one billion streams, and two million albums sold worldwide. They are the real deal, making extraordinary music that is moving people in a fundamental sense ... with a sense of humor.

 

SNC’s return to IU Auditorium is an annual tradition that audiences just can’t get enough of. And as they celebrate 25 years as a group, it is sure to be a special evening when the guys return to where it all began, here at Indiana University.

 

“It’s always special when they return to Bloomington each year, but it is extra special this year as we look forward to celebrating 25 years of IU’s very own Straight No Chaser right here where it all began,” IU Auditorium Managing Director Maria Talbert said. “What began as a college singing group has grown into a worldwide phenomenon and we are proud to host these talented Hoosiers once again this season.”

 

Preceding the show, there will be a food donation drive benefiting the Hoosier Hills Food Bank in Bloomington. Hoosier Hills Food Bank is a local non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating hunger in South Central Indiana. Donations will help feed children, seniors, and low-income households across Monroe, Brown, Lawrence, Orange, Owen, and Martin County. Donations will be collected in the Auditorium entryway starting one hour before the show begins. All donations of non-perishable food will be greatly appreciated.
